Admissions:

Tickets are valid for the date on the ticket only.

Tickets will be emailed to you using the email provided when booking.

You don’t need to print off your tickets, just show your ticket on your mobile device when you arrive.

Special Events – Annual passes, online offers, free party/school/family passes, and discount vouchers are

NOT valid on our special ticketed event days (see individual events for more details).

Refunds cannot be given after entry for any reason.

We do not permit single persons into the Farm Park unless part of a larger group. This is as per our safeguarding policy. 

Dogs:

Guide dogs are welcome but for the comfort and safety of our livestock, please leave other pooches behind.

Expectant Mums:

If you are pregnant, we offer our congratulations but please avoid contact with sheep & goats.

Farm Park rides are not recommended for pregnant women.

Farm Park:

Always wash your hands after animal contact.

Children must be supervised at all times.

No liability for loss, delay or inconvenience can be accepted.

The farm operates a NO SMOKING policy.

Farm Park rides are not recommended for pregnant women or people with back, joint injuries or heart conditions.

All rides are weather permitting.

Thornton Hall Country Park cannot accept liability for any damage or personal injury incurred whilst visiting the farm or on any ride.

We reserve the right to refuse admission.

We reserve the right to withdraw, suspend and change all information, events, and timings contained within our advertising.

Zoonoses:

Zoonoses is the term used for infections that can pass between animals and humans.

You can get zoonotic diseases from direct contact with animals (touching/bites), contaminated food/water and contaminated objects (gates/bedding etc).

Most common zoonotic diseases;

  • Coli (bacterial infection)
  • Cryptosporidiosis (microscopic parasites)
  • Salmonella (bacterial infection)
  • Ringworm (fungal infection)

Prevention

Do not put hands on faces or  fingers in mouths while petting animals or walking round the farm.

Do not kiss farm animals nor allow children to put their faces close to animals

Do not eat or drink while touching animals.

Do not eat anything that has fallen on the floor.

Do not use gels or wipes instead of washing hands with soap and water. Gels and wipes do not remove dirt/diseases.

Do wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after you have touched animals, fences or other surfaces in animal areas.

Do wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before eating or drinking.

Treatment

If you believe you have any symptoms of a zoonotic diseases book an appointment with your GP as soon as possible.

Parties:

A non refundable deposit of £100 secures your party slot. Please advise numbers at least 7 days before the party date.

Minimum number of 12 of all parties.

6 adults free of charge for the birthday child.

2 adults permitted free of charge for every paying party child attending. Siblings not attending the party will be charged a reduced entry.

Balance of party to paid on the day of the party.

Annual Passes:

Are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Are not valid Monday – Friday – term time.

Are not valid for premium ticketed event days.

Do not include free pony rides and caterpillar rides.

Blue Light Free Entry:

A valid blue light card allows the cardholder one free child entry into Thornton Hall Farm.

Your Blue Light ID card must be shown on arrival along with another form of photo ID. ie: driving license.

Failure to show the correct ID will result in full payment being made or entry refused.

Anyone caught using a Blue Light pass that is not their own will be reported to the official Blue Light Card, which may result in the membership being revoked as per the terms and conditions of the Blue Light Card. 

Can not be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Summer Saver Pass 2022:

Summer saver passes are valid from 23rd July – 4th September 2022.

Passes are limited and once sold out no more will be available.

Passes are valid for any day of the week and any event.

Bookings must be made online.

The collection of your pass will be on the first day of your visit.

Passes must be shown on arrival of each visit to THF

They are only valid for the name of the individual person when the pass was ordered. 

Spot checks and identification may be asked when you visit. Failure to match identification will result in payment being made and pass being revoked.

You must bring your pass every time you visit.

Failure to show the pass on your visit will result in payment being made.

If your pass is used by someone else we have the right to cancel your pass immediately. 

Lost passes can not be replaced.

Your pass does not include rides. These are an additional cost.

Soft play is included – a time slot must be booked online. 

We reserve the right to change or modify any offers as we see fit.

Vouchers:

No cash value.

We reserve the right to refuse admission.

Not valid on event days.

Valid for the amount/value shown on the voucher.

No refunds given.

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date issued / purchased.

For many of our special events, we have a photographer on site.  If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform a member of staff at the ticket window on your arrival.

All events activities and opening times are subject to change.

Tickets purchased online for special events are non-refundable and non- transferable (please visit our Privacy Policy / Website Ts&Cs for information on data protection).

A booking fee is applied to all online ticket transactions/sales and is non-refundable under any circumstances.

We may occasionally offer tickets at a discount after the original on-sale date, and will not refund the difference between the original price and the sale price. 

Club Thornton:

Club Thornton is a FREE membership to receive priority tickets and discounts to events.

Not every event will be offered to Club Thornton members prior to the general public.

Any discount offered to Club Thornton members can not be used in conjunction with any other offers.

FREE incentives, giveaways, and tickets are only one per Club Thornton member and whilst stocks last – where appropriate.

You can unsubscribe at any point by following the link at the bottom of any Club Thornton email. 

Data stored for our Club Thornton membership is via Mailchimp.

Competitions and giveaways:

Can not be swapped for any other event.

Are only valid for the event and date shown on the individual competition/giveaway.

Winners are selected at random through an online generator.

Winners will be contacted directly. We will NEVER ask for your card details or payment for a competition win.

Please be aware of fake accounts.

No cash value.

Drink, food and accommodation are not included unless stated otherwise.
