Weekends & Holidays: 10:00-16:30

If you miss your slot, we will do whatever we can to transfer your booking to the next slot BUT only if there is availability in another slot.

If we cannot transfer your booking please note that we cannot refund your tickets.

Thornton Hall Farm is suitable for all ages with different activities and play areas available for a great family day out. Tickets are available for under 1s, under 2s child (2-16yrs) and adult.

 

 

We have three distinct play areas tailored to different ages. Including a separate baby area and role play zone. 

Entry to this the soft play area is included with all children’s tickets: Under 1’s, Under 2’s & Child (2-16yrs).

 

 

Entry to the farm park includes soft play, if you would rather not use this please let reception know on arrival however we do not offer ‘farm only’ entry. Please note, for special events your ticket includes farm entry, soft play and the additional special event fun and activities. No discounts are available if you do not wish to take part in activities.

Our Blue Light offer is valid 22nd July – 3rd August 2023 and allows a blue light card holder free entry.

Entry is free for one adult. The cardholder only. Your card and ID must be shown on arrival. Please book your ticket online and select the blue light ticket.

Carers are permitted free entry on a 1:1 basis with proof of requirement. Such as: MAX card, PIP award or employment ID. 

You are able to reserve your free carers admission when booking online. Please show your ID to reception on arrival.

 

 

Season tickets, farm park vouchers, school and party passes can be used for Farm and Soft Play only and are not valid on event days. Please telephone us on 01282 841 148 to book using a voucher.

The farm park is open from 10am – 4:30pm (10:00-16:00 term time Mon-Fri).  You are welcome to arrive at your convenience (last entry is 1 hour before closing) – Please consider your reserved soft play time slot when planning your arrival time. Late arrival for your soft play time slot will result in a loss of available time in this area, transfers to another time slot may not be possible. Also, our event days are packed with fun activities and shows, please check our social media pages for timings to ensure you don’t miss out.

 

 

 

Yes, The Diner is located in the main barn soft play area and serves premium quality hand-cooked food including gourmet hot dogs, stone baked pizzas, fries and children’s menu alongside a mouth-watering dessert bar offering American waffles, shakes, premium coffees, teas and soft drinks. Please note, on Weekends and Holidays you may only sit in the diner during your reserved soft play time slot.  A take-away breakfast menu, tea, coffee and cakes are available all day.

On weekends and holidays our Street Food Truck, located at the rear of the farm park offers take-away dining with select options from The Diner menu. This can be enjoyed in our Secret Garden and picnic areas.

We offer premium quality hand-cooked food including gourmet hot dogs, stone baked pizzas, fries and children’s menu alongside a mouth-watering dessert bar offering American waffles, shakes, premium coffees, teas and soft drinks. A take-away breakfast menu, tea, coffee and cakes are also available.

 

 

Yes, picnics are welcome and we politely ask these are consumed on our outdoor picnic tables only.

No food can be consumed in The Diner or Secret Garden other than what has been purchased onsite.

You can purchase animal feed at reception, signs are displayed around the farm park showing which animals can be fed and handwashing stations are situated throughout the farm park, please use this regularly during your visit, especially after feeding or petting animals.

 

  • Additional rides are available on the day, weather permitting these include:

 

  • Caterpillar Ride – A fun experience in our purpose made caterpillar barrel ride, pulled by quadbike enjoying bumps and loops around the front meadow. Suitable for toddler-adult. £2 per ride (payment via card at the ride)

 

  • Junior Quadbikes – Ride around our circular track on junior quads. Suitable for ages 6-12. £5 per ride (payment via card at the ride)

 

  • Farm Safari – Enjoy a 25-minute safari across 200 acres, taking in fabulous views and talks with our farmer. Visiting woodlands, quarry, animal paddocks and deer park. Suitable for all ages £3.50 per person (limited spaces, pre-book at reception on arrival, via card or cash)

We’re striving to be a cashless attraction, we accept all card types around all areas of the farm including: Rides, The Diner, Street Food Truck, Secret Garden Bar & Gift Shop. 

Yes, we offer free onsite parking to all our visitors. Disabled parking can be found at the front left of the car park on a first come first served basis.
